The problem it addresses
Make the field record easier to start and easier to share.
A jobsite photo is only useful later when people can understand what it shows and why it matters. This checklist helps teams capture context, detail, evidence, and resolution in a consistent sequence.
Inside the PDF
A practical worksheet for the real handoff.
What the template includes
- A five-photo minimum: area label, wide context, work detail, issue or condition, and finished result
- Before-work and during-installation prompts for areas, materials, protection, labels, measurements, and hidden conditions
- Issue documentation and completion prompts, including resolved-issue comparisons and client-requested views
- Photo quality standards, privacy reminders, correct report attachment, and a suggested file-naming pattern
Who should use it
Field crews, installation supervisors, project managers, and anyone taking photos for a project record.
How to complete it
For each important area, capture the five-photo sequence when applicable. Before work, document the site and existing condition; during work, capture repeatable wide views, details, labels, measurements, and constraints. For issues and completion, follow the relevant checklists. Before filing, confirm the image is clear, appropriately named, free of unnecessary personal or confidential information, and attached to the right report or issue.
Built by an active installation company for real field use.
